Nicola has been teaching in primary schools for 14 years. She currently working in a small village school in Cheshire where she teaches a mixed age class of year 2, 3 and 4 but also has experience of teaching throughout Key Stage 2. Nicola has been Mathematics Subject Leader for 11 years and supported staff in implementing the CPA and mastery approach to teaching. She has a passion for teaching mixed age classes and how to plan to meet the needs of all children. Nicola is looking forward to working with First4Maths Academy and sharing her knowledge of how concepts are developed, and teaching is sequenced.
